The Summer Masquerade Ball is the Largest Summer Event in Washington, DC. The Event Presents an Evening of Incredible Costumes, Live Music, Performance Art Troupes, and the Area’s Best Electronic Music DJs.
The Stellar Entertainment Production is Only Half of What Makes SMB Such a Popular Event. The Other Half is YOU, the Crowd! The Array of Costumes and Creativity is Simply Mind-Blowing and Getting Better Each Year.
We have uploaded some pictures of our performance during The Atrocity Exhibition, and some of the other fetish performances throughout the night. Many thanks to Morose & Macabre, and Distortion Productions for putting this event together. We had an amazing time performing as well as spectating. Everyone involved, from the artists to the performers, from the vendors to the staff, gave it their all and made the night one worth remembering here in Pittsburgh.
We also took two video’s of The Hook is Family and their flesh suspension performances:
- Schizophrenia 4 weekend was intense to say the least. It’s been a few days now, and it seems like everyone involved is finally coming back down to reality and starting to absorb the immensity of it all. It’s been a “tagging frenzy” on Facebook as everyone has been posting pictures, video’s, and blog entries trying to break it all down into easy to swallow chunks of jagged chaos. We have uploaded some pics and vids, and was trying to think of a way to write about it without typing a small novel… but then just today Surachai of Trash Audio posted a video that we feel says it all for us. His video even captured some brief footage of the police raid… this is the only footage, except for the clip of In Broken Key getting arrested, that we are aware of. Some of us had our camera’s/phones out… but when they started beating and threatening everyone with glocks, batons, and pepper spray, that changed a lot of minds about trying to record anything real quick. So yeah, watch and experience what hardcore electronic music is all about… I don’t think any of us know for sure exactly what that is… but whatever it is, it’s all contained and encrypted within this video:
