Retribution review - Ad Noiseam
Finally here, the vinyl debut by Prometheus Burning, following their two CD on Hive Records. In the tradition of Pittsburgh’s Thac0 records, this release is quite a feast for the eyes, with its glossy full cover, full color labels and red vinyl. The four tracks themselves are pretty much in the vein of the hard hitting rhythmic noise known from the CD, with semi-shouted distorted female vocals reminding a bit of Sina, but the whole thing seems have matured nicely, and the mix has gained in space and clarity. Even though this is a limited edition, this record might very well bring some new fans to Prometheus Burning.
